The invention relates to a steel strand inhaul cable with a polyurea protective material. A basic structure comprises steel strand inhaul cable bodies IIIa1 and IIIa2 provided with the polyurea protective material and formed by n steel strand combinations with the polyurea protective material on the outer layers or steel strand inhaul cable bodies IIIf1 and IIIf2 with the polyurea protective material, wherein the positions between steel strands inside the n steel strand combinations are filled with the polyurea material; the outer layers of the steel strand combinations of the steel strand inhaul cable bodies IIIa1, IIIa2, IIIf1 or IIIf2 with the polyurea protective material are provided with PE protective sleeves; or the portions between the steel strand combinations and the PE protective sleeves are filled with the polyurea material; and the n is an integer larger than 1 and smaller than or equal to 1000. A manufacturing method for the steel strand inhaul cable includes the steps that the steel strands with the polyurea protective material on the outer layers are manufactured; blanking is carried out; wire dividing is carried out; polyurea material coating or coating filling is carried out; curing is carried out; stranding is carried out; PE sleeve extrusion molding is carried out; coiling is carried out; and packaging is carried out. The steel strand inhaul cable is reasonable in manufacturing method; and the manufactured steel strand inhaul cable is antiseptic, reduces shock and is good in anti-skid performance and long in service life.
