A hydraulic telescopic dam comprises a dam base (101), a dam body (102) and a hydraulic cylinder (103). The dam base (101) comprises an inclined face (1011), and the dam body (102) and the hydraulic cylinder (103) are arranged along the inclined face (1011); the telescopic end of the hydraulic cylinder (103) is fixed to the top of the dam body (102), and the other end of the hydraulic cylinder (103) is fixed to the dam base (101); and the corresponding positions of the dam body (102) and the inclined face (1011) are provided with a pulley and a sliding groove respectively. The hydraulic cylinder (103) telescopically drives the dam body (102) to vertically slide along the inclined face (1011). Back hydraulic lifting of the dam surface is changed into top hydraulic lifting, the back face of the dam body and the inclined face of the dam base are in pulley rolling so as to reduce friction force, and the hydraulic cylinder is mounted on the top of the dam base, so that maintenance is convenient.
