A road construction device applying an air exhaust fan to dissipate heat is used for polishing a local bulge on a construction road surface during road construction. The road construction device comprises an external shell (8), a motor (9) and a polishing head driving rod component (6), wherein the polishing head driving rod component (6) is driven by the motor (9), the motor (9) can be in power linkage with a splined hole in a driving sleeve part (61) of the polishing head driving rod component (6) in an axial sliding way, and a driving sleeve part (61) of the polishing head driving rod component (6) is fixedly connected with a polishing head installation rod part (62) of the polishing head driving rod component (6) through a reducing connection part (612).
