The present invention addresses the problem of providing a window regulator for which wiring is easily performed on the window regulator and for which the wire tension is automatically increased when window glass is fixed to a carrier after the window regulator is installed on a door panel. When an anchor bolt (15a) that anchors window glass (13) to a carrier (4) is screwed in, a movable member (16) is moved toward the front along a first incline face on the carrier side, the distal end of a driving unit (32) of the member moves a bushing (43) that is inserted into an end of a wire (5a), and a spring (44) positioned between the bushing (43) and a wire end (11) is compressed, thereby increasing wire tension.
