PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wire type window regulator capable of fixing a guide rail and a wire guide member on a door panel of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A wire type window regulator fixed on a door panel of a vehicle includes: a guide rail for liftably guiding a slider base on which window glass is fixed; a wire drive mechanism for lifting/lowering the slider base along the guide rail via a drive wire; a wire guide member provided on at least one of an upper end and lower end of the guide rail, the wire guide member having the drive wire therearound to change a routing direction of the drive wire; and a fixation member supported by the wire guide member. The guide rail includes a pair of vertical wall parts separated in a vehicle longitudinal direction, the vertical wall parts extending in a vehicle width direction. The wire guide member includes a support part for supporting the fixation member. The support part is in contact with the pair of vertical wall parts of the guide rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
