The compound retarder is prepared from, by mass, 10-20 parts of sodium phosphate, 5-10 parts of aluminum hydroxide, 4-8 parts of sodium nitrite, 1-3 parts of calcium titanate, 2-6 parts of maleic anhydride, 1-3 parts of phosphine butane tricarboxylic acid, 1.5-2.8 parts of sucrose, 2-5 parts of calcium saccharate, 0.2-0.8 part of cross-linking inhibitor and 4-10 parts of water. Optionally, 0.5-3.4 parts of acrylic acid and 3-6 parts of polyoxyethylene are further added. An organic retarder, an inorganic retarder and an efficient water reducing agent are selected and compounded proportionally, the compound retarder has better coagulation delaying effect, the coagulation time of concrete can be adjusted by adjusting the mixing amount and is adjustable in the range of 5 hours to 150 hours, and an application range is wide.
