Preparation method for silicon carbide ceramic material
The invention discloses a preparation method for a silicon carbide ceramic material. The preparation method comprises the steps: crushing bamboo charcoal into powder by using a ball mill; mixing the powder with a silica sol and silicon powder in a molar ratio of (4-4.2): 1: 1; pre-pressing and forming the mixture at a pressure of 25-30MPa at normal temperature, wherein the pressure maintaining time is 10-20 minutes; and then raising the temperature to over 1500-1700 DEG C for high-temperature sintering in a vacuum environment or an argon atmosphere to obtain the silicon carbide ceramic material. In the high-temperature sintering process, the temperature is raised at a speed of 5 DEG C/minute at a temperature lower than 200 DEG C and oxygen is discharged; the temperature is raised at a speed of 15 DEG C/minute at a temperature higher than 200 DEG C; the temperature is maintained for 30 minutes and then natural cooling is carried out. The silicon carbide ceramic material prepared by the preparation method disclosed by the invention has good adsorption capacity, resistivity and corrosion-resistant rate and can be used for preparing a conductive material, an adsorption material, a corrosion-resistant material, an antioxidant material and a high-temperature-resistant material. According to the technical scheme, by taking bamboo charcoal as the raw material, the silicon carbide ceramic material is green, environmental-friendly and pollution-free.
