The invention discloses a water collector, which comprises cylinder legs, a water outlet pipe, a valve, a cylinder body, a water collecting hopper, a filter screen, a fixed seat, a spring and a seal plate. When it rains, rainwater passes through the water collecting hopper and flows to the seal plate after being filtered by the filter screen; under water pressure, the seal plate is pressed downwards and is opened and the rainwater flows into the cylinder body; water pressure inside the cylinder body is consistent with that on the water collecting hopper as the cylinder body is full of rainwater, the seal plate is reset by virtue of the spring, and water in the cylinder body, instead of being evaporated, is preserved for a long time. The water collector disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects that the water collector is simple in structure and convenient in use, and is capable of preserving rainwater for a long time.
