The invention discloses a method for preparing ceramic plum green glaze through purple sand stone and a product decorated by the ceramic plum green glaze. The purple sand stone and other commonly-used inorganic non-metal minerals are adopted as raw materials. The ceramic plum green glaze is prepared from, by mass, 30%-40% of potassium feldspar, 20%-30% of quartz, 10%-20% of aedelforsite, 10%-20% of purple sand stone, 5%-10% of Longyan kaolin, 1%-5% of Guangxi talc and 0.5%-5% of calcined zinc oxide, and the ceramic plum green glaze is obtained after batching, ball milling and screening. The ceramic plum green glaze prepared through the method is bright and smooth in texture and green dripping in color, and is just like jade, and wide market prospects are achieved.
