The invention discloses an earthquake isolation system, which comprises a plurality of prefabricated upper part structures and lower part structures, wherein the upper part structures and the lower part structures can be mutually spliced and connected; the upper part structures are positioned on the top of the earthquake isolation system; the lower part structures are positioned at the bottom of the earthquake isolation system; the upper part structures are connected with a building structure positioned above the earthquake isolation system; the lower part structures are connected with a foundation of the building structure; the upper part structures and the lower part structures are in parallel arrangement; an earthquake isolation layer space extending in the horizontal direction is formed between the upper part structures and the lower part structures; a layer plate used for regulating the mechanical property of the earthquake isolation layer space is arranged in the earthquake isolation layer space; the earthquake isolation layer space is filled with filling materials; and the upper part structures are connected with the lower part structures through connecting elements arranged on the periphery of the upper part structures, so that the upper part structures, the lower part structures and the connecting elements jointly form the earthquake isolation layer space of the earthquake isolation system.
