The invention discloses a novel silicate penetration waterproof agent which is prepared from, by weight, 350-400 parts of sodium silicate, 2-4 parts of potassium dichromate, 1-6 parts of aluminium potassium sulfate, 2-8 parts of zinc stearate, 2-8 parts of calcium stearate, 10-25 parts of kieselguhr, 2-8 parts of aluminite powder, 1-5 parts of polyaluminum ferric chloride, 3-8 parts of talcum powder, 1-4 parts of calcium formate, 1-7 parts of sodium tripolyphosphate and 350-450 parts of water. The waterproof agent is large in depth of penetration, good in endurance quality and capable of being applied to watertightness of roofs, basements, toilets and the like.
