The invention discloses a novel liquid penetrant waterproof agent which is prepared from, by weight, 500-600 parts of sodium silicate, 2-4 parts of potassium dichromate, 1-5 parts of aluminium potassium sulfate, 2-10 parts of zinc stearate, 2-10 parts of calcium stearate, 10-20 parts of kieselguhr, 4-10 parts of aluminite powder, 3-5 parts of polyaluminum ferric chloride, 2-5 parts of talcum powder, 2-4 parts of triisopropanolamine, 2-6 parts of carboxymethylcellulose and 400-500 parts of water. The novel liquid penetrant waterproof agent is large in depth of penetration, good in endurance quality and capable of being applied to watertightness of roofs, basements, toilets and the like.
