The invention discloses an enhanced column structure for a guardrail. The enhanced column structure comprises a square tube and an inner lining inserted into the square tube in a sleeved manner, wherein the inner lining comprises two mutually parallel horizontal plates and a vertical plate through which the two horizontal plates are connected; edgefolds clung to the inner wall of the square tube are symmetrically formed at the two ends of each horizontal plate; raised lines are formed on each of two sides of the vertical plate; a mounting groove is formed between each raised line and the vertical plate; and saw-toothed bulges are formed on the side wall of the side, located on the side of the mounting groove, of each raised line. The enhanced column structure is strong in bearing capacity, the inner lining meets the requirement on the supporting strength, the mounting grooves are formed, the enhanced column structure can be connected with other columns or guardrails through the mounting grooves, the stress strength at the joints is improved, the mounting is convenient and quick, and besides, the raised lines can play the roles of increasing the strength of the stressed surface and avoiding stress concentration.
