A rotary knob type coded lock comprises a coded lock assembly and a shell. The coded lock assembly comprises a coded wheel and an elastic sheet. The shell is composed of a face plate and a base plate. The rotary knob type coded lock further comprises a locking plate. A driving lever is arranged on the outer side of one end of the locking plate. The elastic sheet is provided with a clamping block arranged transversely. The base plate is provided with a bayonet corresponding to the clamping block. The bottom of the base plate is further provided with a bearing block. A bearing is mounted on the bearing block. The bearing is provided with a rotary shaft. One end of the rotary shaft is fixedly connected with the coded lock assembly. The other end of the rotary shaft is fixedly connected with the locking plate. By adopting the rotary knob type coded lock, a user just needs to drive the coded wheel and rotates gripping parts when a password is correct in the unlocking process, the locking plate is driven to rotate through the rotary shaft and the bearing, and then unlocking is achieved; the rotary knob type coded lock is smooth and convenient and fast to operate in the unlocking process.
