The invention relates to a method for reinforcing a river bank by utilizing dredger fill, belonging to the technical field of foundation treatment. The method provided by the invention comprises the following steps: firstly making a trapezoidal river bank foundation by utilizing steel bars; then respectively mixing dredger fill with cobblestone, quicklime, polymeric organic matters, coarse sand and medium sand, and then sequentially putting in a terrace river bank; and finally, planting vegetations on the reinforced river bank. Embodiments prove that the method reduces the cement content and saves the cost, and the material prepared by the method has an obvious reinforced effect; and by virtue of the design of the trapezoidal river bank, after the river bank is built for 3-5 days, a truck of which the weight is more than 2.5-3.5t can steadily run on the river bank.
