The invention relates to an alarm device comprising a mobile alarm transmitter (1), wherein the alarm transmitter (1) is designed to detect a change in an electrical property of a sensor element (4a, 4b, 4c) connected to the alarm transmitter (1) and to signal an alarm if a change is detected, wherein the alarm transmitter (1) and at least one sensor element (4a, 4b, 4c) each form separate units and can be connected to each other so as to be in electrical contact, wherein the alarm transmitter (1) is disposed as a recyclable unit, and the at least one sensor element (4a, 4b, 4c) is disposed as a consumer unit.
