The invention discloses a production method of a highly refractory fiber reinforced mullite lightweight refractory material. The method comprises steps as follows: wollastonite, quartz sand, talc and flint clay are used as main raw materials, mass fractions are controlled, SiO2 is 58%, CaO is 28%, MgO is 8%, the rest is 4% of a modified additive, and the main raw materials and the modified additive are mixed; a preparation method of the modified additive comprises steps as follows: in parts by weight, weighing and grinding the following raw materials: 4 parts of zinc oxide, 18-20 parts of phosphorus pentoxide, 2-3 parts of trehalose and 1.5-1.8 parts of expanded graphite nano powder; performing a melt-swinging step and the like on the evenly mixed raw materials to prepare refractory fibers, and then preparing the fiber reinforced mullite lightweight refractory material.
