The invention discloses puddling tap-hole clay. The puddling tap-hole clay is characterized by being prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 15-20 parts of 3-0mm chromohercynite, 5-8 parts of 1-0mm bonite, 10-15 parts of 1-0mm sillimanite, 8-15 parts of 0.5-0mm magnesium oxide iron, 8-13 parts of partial clay powder, 3-7 parts of cobalt aluminum oxide powder, 5-10 parts of cutting power, 7-25 parts of graphite powder, 5-10 parts of composite carbon powder and 1-2 parts of mid-temperature pitch powder. According to the tap-hole clay, the aperture of a tap hole can be protected and is not easy to change; tapping is stable; in addition, the usability and operation performance of the tape-hole clay are not reduced in a long-term storage process.
