The invention discloses an overwater garbage processor. The overwater garbage processor consists of a water outlet, a water inlet, a motor, a buoyancy increasing ring, a garbage can, a battery and a handle, and is characterized in that garbage floating on water is sucked in through the water inlet through rotation of the motor; and remaining water is drained through the water outlet. The buoyancy increasing ring is arranged around the processor by one circle so that the buoyancy of the processor can be increased. The battery can be unscrewed from the motor, so that the garbage in the garbage is poured out, and meanwhile the changing of the battery is facilitated.
