The present invention relates to an aliphatic hydroxy sulfonate water reducing agent energy-saving preparation method, which comprises: adding warm water and a sulfite to a reaction kettle, starting stirring, and quickly adding caustic soda liquid, wherein the final kettle temperature is 45-50 DEG C; rapidly adding acetone to achieve the final kettle temperature of 35-45 DEG C, and carrying out thermal insulation for 30 min; adding a formaldehyde solution in a dropwise manner, wherein the adding time is controlled to 1-3 h, normal temperature process water is introduced into an inner coil pipe and a condenser during the formaldehyde adding process to take away the heat released through the system polymerization, the process water for cooling is finally stored in a warm water pool after being heated so as to be used as the warm water in the process formula, and it is ensured that the kettle temperature is 85-95 DEG C after completing the formaldehyde adding; and continuously stirring for 1-2 h, and introducing the normal temperature process water into the inner coil pipe to cool the kettle temperature to 50-60 DEG C so as to discharge the material to obtain the aliphatic hydroxy sulfonate water reducing agent product.
