The invention relates to a sit-squat dual-purpose toilet. The sit-squat dual-purpose toilet comprises a stool, a toilet cushion, ceramic footboards and same-shaped solid ceramic columns. A stool barrel is a cylinder. Two sides on the upper wall of the cylinder are respectively longitudinal ceramic footboards. The upper wall surfaces of the ceramic footboards are equal to the upper wall surface of the stool in height. A same-shaped solid ceramic column is used for supporting the lower part of each ceramic footboard.When a user selects a sitting mode, the toilet cushion is firstly put down and the user can normally sit on the toilet cushion. If a squatting mode is selected, two feet respectively tread on the different ceramic footboards.
