The invention discloses a giant rectangular-section concrete filled steel tubular column. The giant rectangular-section concrete filled steel tubular column comprises a rectangular steel tube in which a plurality of steel separator layers are arranged from bottom to top; the periphery of each steel separator plate is closely fitted with an inner wall of the rectangular steel tube and a filleted-corner rectangular through hole is formed in the middle of the steel separator plate; a plurality of vertical stiffening ribs are arranged between the steel separator layers; vertical pull plates distributed horizontally are arranged between two opposing vertical stiffening ribs; concrete is poured into spaces defined by the rectangular steel tube, the steel separator layers and the vertical stiffening ribs. By means of the vertical stiffening ribs, the steel separator layers and the horizontally arranged vertical pull plates, the concrete within the giant rectangular-section concrete filled steel tubular column is effectively divided and the restrained ability of the concrete is enhanced, and therefore, the overall bearing capability and the overall deformability are effectively improved and the strength and the service life of a building are increased; additionally, the vertical stiffening ribs are capable of bearing vertical loads, and also functioning in reducing the wall thickness of the steel tube and saving materials, thereby practically meeting the actual requirements of huge buildings.
