The invention discloses a spiral type lock cylinder structure with a locking plate and a spiral type key. The spiral type lock cylinder structure comprises a lock cylinder shell comprising a limiting hole, a lock cylinder body comprising a lock channel which is communicated with the outside and is in a spiral shape, and a clamping set. The clamping set is provided with the locking plate and an elastic member. The locking plate is provided with a body, a protruded part and a linkage part. The body is provided with a cross-span space and can be crossly arranged on the lock cylinder body. The protruded part protrudes and extends from the body to the position where is far away from the cross-span space. The linkage part protrudes and extends to the cross-span space from the body and extends into the lock channel. One end of the elastic member abuts against the body, and when no external force is exerted or the external force is vanished, the protruded part of the locking plate is kept to be in the state that the protruded part extends into the limiting hole. The spiral type key comprises a key handle and a key body which is connected with the key handle and in a spiral shape. According to the design of the spiral type key and the spiral type lock cylinder structure, the safety can be improved.
