The invention discloses a production method of a waterproof and heat insulating material. The material comprises polyethylene, figwort roots, silica, polypropylene, resin, pollen, magnesium metal, silver nitrate, aluminum oxide, pearl powder, talc, sodium hydroxide and paraffin, and the materials are subjected to ultrasonic emulsification at the ultrasonic frequency of 100-260 hertz for 2-6 min and are mixed, ground and sieved by a 100-150-mesh sieve. The material produced with the method can have both waterproof and heat insulating functions, and construction burden of a worker is reduced; the production method has the advantages of simplicity, simple and convenient process and lower production cost.
