The invention relates to a damp-proof and fireproof door core. The method comprises the following steps: mixing 30-40 parts of polyvinyl alcohol and 100-140 parts of water to prepare glue, putting the glue into a high-speed shearing machine, adding 1-1.3 parts of an inorganic aluminum salt water-proofing agent, 1-1.5 parts of an organosilicone water repellent, 3-5 parts of an organosilicone flatting agent, 70-95 parts of sulphate aluminium cement and 2-3 parts of a heptaminol corrosion inhibitor, carrying out high-speed shearing and stirring, wherein the shearing speed is 6,000-8,0000 RPM and the shearing time is 5-10 minutes; transferring to a high-speed stirrer, adding 8-15 parts of palygorskite and 0.5-2 parts of a high-alumina cement foaming agent, wherein the stirring speed is 1,000-1500r/min, and the stirring time is 10-15 minutes; finally adding 20-30 parts of PVA staple fibers to stir, wherein the stirring speed is 800-1,000r/min, and the stirring time is 5-10 minutes; and discharging into a mold, fully stacking 10dm<3> steel cages regularly in the mold, statically curing and molding in the mold, taking out, and drying until the moisture content is 12%.
