The invention discloses a refractory brick prepared from industrial solid waste and a preparation method of the refractory brick. Industrial waste chromium slag, coal gangue, fly ash, waste gypsum, quartz tailings, corundum slag, industrial sludge of an aluminum profile factory, high-phosphorus tailings, industrial iron tailings, olivine, mica powder, dextrin, starch and a sulfite pulp waste liquid are taken as the raw materials, the refractory brick with excellent usability and low production cost is prepared, and the purposes of comprehensive recycling of the industrial solid waste and reduction of the production cost are achieved. The prepared refractory brick has excellent performance indexes as follows: the apparent porosity is 14%-20%, the bulk density is 3.0-3.5 g/cm<3>, the cold crushing strength is 150-230 MPa, the high-temperature breaking strength is 50-70 MPa, and the refractory brick has better thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance.
