According to the invention, the problem that catwalks are interfered with each other as a catwalk is erected on each main cable of a suspension bridge in which the clear spacing of the two main cables is relatively small is solved; the wide catwalk has the advantages that the requirements for main cable erection construction are met, the reasonable structural stress of the catwalk is guaranteed, the construction operations are convenient, and good stability is achieved.
