The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing BaCO3, TiO2 and ZrO2 according to a chemical stoichiometric equation Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3; after carrying out ball milling, drying and sieving, and then pre-sintering at a temprature ranging from 1000 DEG C to 1200 DEG C; adding 0.5wt% to 5wt% of PVA (Poly Vinyl Alcohol); after carrying out ball milling, drying and sieving, pressing the mixture by a tablet machine to mold a blank; degumming the blank at a temprature ranging from 600 DEG C to 800 DEG C and sintering at a temprature ranging from 1300 DEG C to 1400 DEG C; keeping the heat for 2 to 8 hours to prepare dielectric material for the ceramic capacitor. According to the dielectric material, the dielectric constant epsilon r is 18253 to 20048, the dielectric loss is 77.2*10<-4> to 128.4*10<-4> and the sintering temperature ranges from 1300 DEG C to 1400 DEG C; the preparation method is simple, and the time cost and energy source cost are saved.
