The invention discloses a novel domestic shower room, which comprises a bottom frame, an upper frame and stand columns. The number of the stand columns is two, and the two stand columns comprise the left stand column and the right stand column respectively. The bottom frame is arranged on the lower portion between the left stand column and the right stand column, and the upper frame is arranged on the upper portion between the left stand column and the right stand column. Two glass plates are arranged between the bottom frame and the upper frame, and the two glass plates comprise the first glass plate and the second glass plate respectively. The upper portion of the first glass plate is fixed with the upper frame through a first upper fixing mechanism, the lower portion of the first glass plate is fixed with the bottom frame through a first lower fixing mechanism, and the left side of the first glass plate is attached to the inner side face of the left stand column. The upper portion of the second glass plate is fixed with the upper frame through a second upper fixing mechanism, the lower portion of the second glass plate is fixed with the bottom frame through a second lower fixing mechanism, and the right side of the second glass plate is attached to the inner side face of the right stand column. Sliding doors are arranged between the first glass plate and the second glass plate, and the sliding doors are provided with handles.
