The invention discloses a multi-layer mechanical parking system. The multi-layer mechanical parking system comprises a garage having more than two years. Parking plates, capable of moving up and down, are arranged on the front portions of the garage. Vertical guide rails are arranged on two front frame columns ahead of the garage. Parking plate supports capable of moving along the guide rails are arranged on the two sides of each parking plate. The parking plate supports are connected with traction frames through first steel wire ropes respectively, and the first steel wire ropes are wound on first rollers on the garage. The multi-layer mechanical parking system has following beneficial effects: parking spots in the garages are fixed, the parking plates are moved to move vehicles to the positions in front of corresponding empty parking spots; and then vehicles are parked in the corresponding parking spots; the structure is simple, driving energy consumption of the mechanical parking system is lowered; operation of the mechanical parking system can be controlled by specially-assigned persons; safety and reliability are achieved; the parking problem of urban residential areas or public undertakings where vehicles are multiple can be effectively solved; and the multi-layer mechanical parking system has great economic, social and environmental benefits.
