Provided is a ceiling component that makes it possible to reduce floor impact sound that is transmitted in a wide frequency band from a floor component. The ceiling component is provided with: a ceiling foundation (7) for a lower floor (1b); a hanging mechanism (6) that supports the ceiling foundation (7) relative to a floor component (2) that constitutes the floor of an upper floor (1a) so that the ceiling foundation (7) hangs from the floor component (2); and a linking mechanism (8) that links the ceiling foundation (7) and the floor component (2) so that, in a state in which the ceiling foundation (7) hangs by the hanging mechanism (6) from the floor component (2), the ceiling foundation (7) can be displaced relative to the floor component (2) in the vertical direction and reaction force is generated in a direction that prevents the relative displacement of the floor component (2) and the ceiling foundation (7) in the vertical direction in accordance with said relative displacement.
