The invention discloses a dry-hang self-ornamental impervious insulation building block, comprising a building block structural body and an outer insulation protective body which are independently arranged. The outer side of the outer insulation protective body is a protective layer, and the inner side of the outer insulation protective body is an insulation layer; the building block structural body and the outer insulation protective body are fixedly connected through a set of fasteners; at least two side edges of the insulation layer are respectively 2 to 18 mm wider than corresponding side edges of the building block structural body; and the side surface of the insulation layer is provided with an impervious bulge or/and impervious groove installed in a matching way. The invention has the following beneficial effects: due to combined structural impervious and material impervious effect, the building block has excellent water resistance and impermeability; the insulation protective body and the building block structural body are tightly combined, so the building block is firm and reliable; integrated construction and simultaneous completion of the structure of a wall, insulating, energy-saving, waterproof and impervious functions of the wall and decoration of the exterior wall are realized, so a construction cycle is greatly shortened; and the insulation protection body of a single block or local wall surface can be conveniently replaced, so wall maintenance is facilitated.
