A lifesaving window is applied to various vehicles or buildings. The lifesaving window is mainly composed of a lifesaving opening and a sealed or push-pull type separation window, wherein the lifesaving opening is installed on a compartment or a compartment frame of one of various passenger cars or large buses or small buses or trains or subways or light rails or installed on the wall of a building, and the separation window covers the lifesaving opening when no dangerous case happens. When passengers or persons inside a building room meet dangerous cases such as a fire, chemical toxicants, violence and hostage taking, the passengers or indoor persons can open the separation window of the lifesaving window in time to save themselves, so that the lifesaving window avoids the phenomenon that serious casualties are caused when a majority of the passengers or the indoor persons cannot be evacuated in time when the cases happen.
