The invention relates to the field of civil engineering, in particular to an underground water control method for a backfilled sediment layer. The underground water control method for the backfilled sediment layer includes the steps that firstly, the periphery of a foundation pit excavation area is measured and positioned, an underground water control dam body excavation mark is set, and line is paid off; secondly, a dam body is excavated; thirdly, while the dam body is excavated, a dewatering tube well is buried near the dam body in advance, and backfill filter materials are arranged on the periphery of the dewatering tube well during backfilling of the dam body; fourthly, the second step and the third step are repeated until the whole dam body is formed, accumulated water in the foundation pit area is drained through the dewatering tube well, and internal structure construction is carried out after excavation of a foundation pit. The underground water control method for the backfilled sediment layer is simple in technical principle, convenient to operate and wide in application range and can be applied to tidal flat areas of rivers and sea, and the problem of shortage of construction land is relieved.
