The invention relates to a plastic water stop plate used as a waterproof curtain. The water stop plate is mainly composed of a buffering layer, a waterproof plate with a high-molecular polymer as raw materials, a metal plate and the like. The buffering layer can be made of non-woven fabrics and polyethylene foam plastic and used for buffering the unevenness of a support base face at the initial stage or buffering burrs from puncturing the plastic waterproof plate; the waterproof plate is made of the high-molecular polymer, and the waterproof function of the whole structure is achieved; and the metal plate mainly serves as a structure support, and an additional function is achieved for the waterproof layer. According to the whole plastic water stop plate, a plate inserting machine of a plastic water drainage plate for foundation treatment is utilized, and water stop plates are continuously inserted instead of water drainage plates. Mixing piles are replaced to serve as the lateral waterproof curtain. Compared with the prior art that a water stop wall is formed through continuous mixing piles (cement mixing stirring piles and the like), single pipes and three-pipe jet grouting piles, the plastic water stop plate has the beneficial effects that the plastic water stop plate can be used for the water isolation function of side walls of foundation pits and tunnels more reliably and conveniently, cost is low, and the water stop effect is good.
