VEHICLE DOOR DRIVING DEVICE
A vehicle door driving device and a vehicle door driving method that are capable of reducing the operational force required when opening a door manually are provided for a vehicle for which a vehicle door (for example a side door, a back door, a trunk lid, or the like) can be opened manually. In one embodiment of the present invention, a command for automatically opening a side door (101) in a fully closed state by a prescribed amount that is not a fully opened state is input (step S61), and a pop open angle ([theta]) is determined according to whether the command was input with a switch (106) external to a vehicle (100) or with an internal switch (107) (steps S62-S64). Next, a pop open operation is performed in accordance with the determined angle ([theta]) (steps S65, S66).
