The invention discloses a multistage ecological system for preventing and controlling agricultural non-point source phosphorus loss. The multistage ecological system is distributed in a terrace with natural fall according to a sloping field, and comprises: a desilting and water-catching system which is distributed in the whole sloping field and comprises a flood intercepting ditch, a drainage ditch and a grit chamber; a plant fence-ecological ditch system which is distributed in the sloping terrace and comprises a plant fence and an ecological ditch; a step bank wetland which is positioned onthe sloping field at the lower part of the terrace; and a phosphorus-rich ecological embankment which is positioned at the lower part of the sloping field and above a hydro-fluctuation belt. The multistage ecological system for preventing and controlling agricultural non-point source phosphorus loss can effectively intercept and control reservoir area small watershed slope cropland agricultural non-point source phosphorus loss, reduces water and soil loss, purifies rainfall runoff, and prevents and controls eutrophication of reservoir area water bodies, especially branch water bodies of largeartificial reservoirs.
