The invention discloses a rainwater collecting system and a construction method thereof. The rainwater collecting system comprises a rainwater collecting groove, a purification pond and a water storage pond. A rainwater removal box, a settling box and a collecting box are arranged in the purification pond, a lifting pump is arranged between the water storage pond and the collecting pond, the rainwater removal box, the settling box and the collecting box are provided with supporting frames, each supporting frame is provided with a guide block, the purification pond is provided with a supportingbase, each supporting frame is provided with a limiting bump, the supporting base is provided with a limiting frame, the supporting base is provided with a threaded rod, and the limiting frame is arranged on a threaded rod. The construction method comprises the following steps of a, selecting a site for excavation; b, building the purification pond and the water storage pond; c, mounting the rainwater removal box, the settling box and the collecting box; d, hoisting the supporting frames; e, mounting the rainwater collecting groove; f, carrying out connection and testing; and g, sealing a cover. The rainwater collecting system is high in pressure resistance and convenient to hoist. The rainwater removal box, the settling box and the collecting box can be recovered for secondary use, so that the rainwater collecting system is more environment-friendly. The construction efficiency is improved, the construction period is shortened, and the collecting system is firmer.
