The invention relates to a magnesite suspension decomposing furnace which comprises a cylindrical decomposing furnace body, a feeding port is formed in the upper portion of the cylindrical decomposingfurnace body, a discharging port is formed in the lower portion of the cylindrical decomposing furnace body, a combustion nozzle is arranged on the lower portion of the side wall of the furnace body,a gas spraying end of the combustion nozzle is obliquely arranged upwards, the included angle between the combustion nozzle and the vertical direction ranges from 60 degrees to 85 degrees, and the included angle between the combustion nozzle and the plane formed by the combustion nozzle setting point and the furnace body center axis ranges from 20 degrees to 35 degrees. The production equipment provided by the invention can be used for calcining magnesite to produce light magnesium oxide, and is beneficial to controlling the calcining time and improving the product quality.
