The steel rail includes, by mass, 0.62%-0.74% of C, 0.35%-0.65% of Si, 0.80%-1.00% of Mn, 0.38%-0.48% of Cu, 0.20%-0.45%of Cr, 0.15%-0.25% of Ni, smaller than or equal to 0.20% of Mo, smaller than or equal to 0.035% of P, smaller than or equal to 0.025% of S, smaller than or equal to 0.005% of Al and the balance ironand inevitable impurities. The invention further discloses a manufacturing method of the steel rail. The produced steel rail has good strength and tunnel corrosion resistance.
