The corrosion-resistant steel rail comprises, by weight, 0.70%-0.82% of C, 0.1%-0.6% of Si, 0.5%-1.1% of Mn, not greater than 0.030% of P, not greater than 0.025% of S, 0.1%-0.3% of Cr and the balance Fe and inevitable impurities. The invention further provides a preparation method of the steel rail. The corrosion-resistant steel rail is prepared through shot blasting and other operation, a blue oxidation film with the thickness being 0.5-1.5 microns is formed onthe surface of the steel rail, the corrosion resistance of the steel rail can be effectively improved, and the corrosion-resistant steel rail is suitable for improving the corrosion resistance of thesteel rail in the humid environment.
