The invention relates to a preparation process of a degradable fiber pre-planting blanket, and belongs to the technical field of pre-planting blankets. The preparation process specifically comprises the following process steps of 1, preparing coconut fiber slurry, and specifically firstly preparing coconut carbon slurry, wherein the coconut carbon slurry comprises coconut carbon powder, a surfactant, a hydrophilic slow-release agent and water, and then mixing the coconut carbon slurry with polyester to obtain the coconut fiber slurry; 2, using the coconut fiber slurry obtained in step 1 for spinning so as to obtain coconut carbon fibers; and 3, spinning the coconut carbon fibers obtained in step 2 into coconut carbon yarns, and weaving the coconut carbon yarns into the coconut carbon fiberblanket. According to the preparation process, the prepared plant fiber blanket has the effects of higher water absorption and retention capacity.
