The invention discloses an energy-saving method of a secondary water supply system. The energy-saving method comprises the following steps that 1, water supply parameters are determined according to the water demand of a user; 2, a water pump is subjected to primary configuration according to the water supply parameters; 3, the operation condition of water supply equipment is monitored on line through monitoring equipment, monitored data are analyzed, and an actual water demand is judged; and 4, the water supply parameters are determined according to the actual water demand, and the water pumpis subjected to secondary configuration. The energy-saving method is ingenious in structure, the requirements of users with low occupancy rate and high occupancy rate can be met through two times ofwater pump configuration, model selection of the water pump equipment better meets the actual water supply requirement, and insufficient water supply caused by the fact that the power of the selectedwater pump equipment is too low or serious waste and too large energy consumption caused by too high power of the selected water pump equipment are avoided.
