The invention discloses a splash-proof scarifier and a scarifying method thereof and belongs to the technical field of scarifying equipment. The splash-proof scarifier comprises a base body and a scarifying hook installed at the lower part of the base body; a storage box is arranged between the scarifying hook and the base body; a water tank is arranged on one side of the storage box; a third motor is arranged in the storage box; the output end of the third motor is connected with a shielding device box through a first rotating shaft; a second motor is arranged in the shielding device box; theoutput end of the second motor is fixedly connected with a rotating cylinder; and a shielding device is wound around the rotating cylinder. According to the splash-proof scarifier and the scarifyingmethod thereof of the invention, a shielding plate is adopted, so that soil splashed by the scarifying hook can be shielded during construction, and therefore, the phenomenon of messy environment caused by soil splashing is prevented. A second water conveying pipe, a second air suction pipe and a circulating fan are arranged on the shielding plate; water flow can be sprayed to soil, and redundantdust can be adsorbed in the working process of the scarifying hook; the concentration of dust in air can be reduced; the soil can be prevented from splashing; the neatness of the environment is effectively protected; and harm of the dust to human bodies is effectively reduced.
