The invention discloses a signal tower with a lightning protection function for a D2D communication technology in 5G communication. The signal tower structurally comprises a base, a supporting column,a protective frame, a communication transmission structure, a D2D communication terminal and a lightning rod, wherein the base is horizontally mounted at the lower end of the supporting column; the protective frame is mounted on the outer side of the supporting column in a surrounding mode; the communication transmission structure is mechanically connected to the outer side of the supporting column; the D2D communication terminal is fixedly mounted above the outer surface of the supporting column; the lightning rod is vertically mounted at the upper end of the supporting column; the communication transmission structure comprises an mounting disc, a fixing structure, a buffer structure, a connecting frame and a communication transmission box; and the fixing structure is mounted on the outer side of the mounting disc in a surrounding mode and is welded to the mounting disc. According to the signal tower, the fixing structure is arranged on the outer side of the mounting disc, so that the contact area with wind is reduced, the structure is more stable when meeting the wind, and the shaking of equipment is reduced; and the buffer structure is arranged on the outer side of the fixing structure, so that slow moving buffer is realized, the shaking of the equipment is reduced, the communication transmission is more stable, and the experience effect of a user is improved.
