The invention relates to the technical field of paint processing, and particularly discloses a bactericidal environment-friendly coating which is composed of the following components in parts by weight: 30-50 parts of natural diatomite, 20-40 parts of modified nano clay mineral, 3-6 parts of curing agent, 8-12 parts of bactericide, 0.3-0.6 part of thickener and 100-140 parts of deionized water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: grinding the diatomite and the clay mineral into powder, fully mixing the powder with the curing agent, the bactericide, the thickener and the deionized water, and drying and crushing the mixture to finally obtain the finished product solid coating. According to the coating, the bactericide is added into the coating so that peculiar smell in aircan be adsorbed and decomposed and the coating has the effects of removing the peculiar smell and purifying indoor air, and also has the functions of preventing corrosion and planthopper; meanwhile, both the bactericide and the coating are prepared from green pollution-free raw materials so that no harm is brought to the user in the using process; meanwhile, the coating is simple in component, wide and easily available in raw material source, low in cost and suitable for large-scale production.
