The invention discloses a walking type single-steel-wheel vertical directional vibratory road roller. The vibratory road roller comprises a motor, a rack platform, a vibrating wheel and a handle, thevibrating wheel comprises an external roller and a vibration exciter arranged in the external roller, the vibration exciter comprises a vibration exciter roller, and a right mandrel, a left mandrel and an intermediate shaft which are transversely distributed in the vibration exciter roller, the three shafts are rotatably connected with the vibration exciter roller through bearings, the roller shaft of the vibration exciter roller is fixedly connected with the rack platform, the roller is rotatably sleeved outside the vibration exciter roller, the front end of the intermediate shaft penetratesthrough the roller shaft to the outside of the roller, the intermediate shaft is in transmission connection with the motor, the intermediate shaft is in transmission connection with the right mandrelthrough a toothed belt and is in meshing transmission with the left mandrel through a gear, and a pair of eccentric blocks are respectively arranged on the right mandrel and the left mandrel. The roadroller is small in size and can act on a compacted narrow road surface, the horizontal forces and the oblique forces of the eccentric blocks can be synchronously counteracted in the working process,only force perpendicular to the ground direction is generated, and the road surface compaction effect is further improved.
