The invention discloses a building damping device which comprises a top plate, a bearing barrel, a fixed barrel and a bottom plate. The top plate and the bearing plate are connected through multiple annularly-distributed pin shafts. The bearing plate and the fixed plate are connected through multiple damping assemblies. The damping assemblies comprise the middle damping assembly, a pair of bottomdamping assemblies and a pair of edge damping assemblies. The middle damping assembly is arranged in a damping cavity. The pair of bottom damping assemblies are symmetrically arranged at the bottom ofthe damping cavity. The pair of edge damping assemblies are symmetrically arranged at the two ends of the bottom of the damping cavity. Due to the fact that the multiple sets of damping assemblies are arranged between the bearing plate and the fixed plate, the function of balancing buildings can be achieved when earthquakes happen, the shake degree of the buildings can be reduced, and therefore the damping effect of the building damping device is good, and damping performance is high.
