The invention relates to a block-chain-technology-based access control device for community security and protection. The access control device comprises a door frame and a base. An identification mechanism is arranged at the top in the door frame; and shielding mechanisms are arranged at the two ends of the door frame. Each shielding mechanism comprises a rotating shaft, a curtain, a connecting rod and two driving assemblies. Each driving assembly comprises a first motor, a transmission unit, a lead screw, a bearing and a translation block. The identification mechanism comprises a lifting assembly, a lifting plate, an adjusting assembly and an adjusting plate. The lifting assembly comprises a lifting unit and two sliding units. According to the access control device for community securityand protection based on the blockchain technology, a block chain technology is adopted for data storage, so that the data security degree is high; light can be shielded through the shielding mechanisms, the interference influence of external environment light is reduced, and interception is conducted; face images of people with different heights can conveniently be shot from the front face throughthe identification mechanism, so that the face recognition precision is improved and thus the practicability of the device is improved.
