The invention relates to a multifunctional machine for railway sleeper replacement and ballast digging. The multifunctional machine is characterized in that a pair of oil way positioning blocks are mounted at the upper end of each of the left and right side walls of a movable arm through welding, and the oil way positioning blocks are used for fixing a first oil way or a second oil way; a first oil valve and a second oil valve are installed at the lower ends of the left side wall and the right side wall of the movable arm through welding, the first oil valve and the second oil valve are each provided with an oil way switch valve, the first oil valve is used for being connected with and controlling the first oil way, and the second oil valve is used for being connected with and controllingthe second oil way; and the first oil way extends upwards in the mode of being attached to the side wall of the movable arm and extends towards a hydraulic oil tank along the outer arc face of the main arm to be connected with a first oil pump, and the second oil way extends upwards in the mode of being attached to the side wall of the movable arm and extends towards the hydraulic oil tank along the outer arc face of the main arm to be connected with a second oil pump. Workpieces are particularly buckets or sleeper replacing clamp assemblies or swing type ballast digging mechanisms, and threeworking modes can be flexibly replaced. The machine has the advantages of being novel in structure, flexible, easy and convenient in workpiece replacement and higher in practicability.
